How to use The Halftime Edge
The Halftime Edge is a historical research tool. It shows what happened in recorded games with matching full-game closing lines, halftime margins and second-half spreads. Use that history to strengthen information you already have and make your own decision.
These records are historical context, not betting recommendations or this game’s win probability. A green percentage or “Heavy” area describes past results; it does not guarantee the next result.
What makes the evidence stronger?
Read the record, game count and surrounding lines together. A high percentage at one historical line has less breadth than a cluster of distinct lines favoring the same side. Several lines can still have small samples, and conflicting lines mean mixed evidence.
“Historical line” means a distinct recorded 2H spread in the displayed area, not one game. Games tell you sample size; lines tell you breadth. Exact, nearby and area groups overlap and are not independent confirmations.
